Hoosier Burn Camp offers a life-changing, unforgettable summer camp experience for young men and women who have experienced injuries from burns - at no cost to the families. We are able to do this solely through donations we receive.
The Survive Alive Program provides for a modular house that has been retro-fitted to simulate a house fire, to be taken to area schools, churches, outdoor events, etc. by firefighters, who then take children and adults through the house and demonstrate techniques that they can use to survive a house fire. The house has breathable smoke and lighting effects, making it a great training tool for Michiana residents. The number of citizens injured in house fires in our area has plummeted due to this program.
